A Legacy of Leadership - MSU Military Science

This campaign ended on November 12, 2018, but you can still make a gift to Missouri State University by clicking here!

The Legacy of Leadership...As senior year MSU Military Science cadets working towards completing their degree and obtaining a commission as Second Lieutenants in the Army, they are awarded, in a special ceremony,  a unique Missouri State University graduation ring symbolic of their military training and the obligation they have voluntarily chosen to serve their country.  This special event strengthens even further the cadet’s commitment of loyalty, duty and selfless service as they begin their active duty leadership roles.

The purpose of this campaign is to increase an endowed fund that will allow the opportunity of continuing to provide this exclusive graduation ring to each of our graduating Bear Battalion Cadets, in an effort to recognize the time they will spend in service to our country.

We want all graduating cadets of our Bear Battalion to receive this special graduation ring because they are a part of an exclusive group -  dedicated to service and leadership. We want them to look back on their time in a MSU and the battalion with fond memories, appreciating the positive and lasting impact it had on their lives, giving them the confidence to know they can and will be a success at whatever endeavor they decide to pursue.

Whether you are an alumni, family or friend, we now ask you to pay it forward by being involved in the program in whatever way you can. No contribution is insignificant.  We ask that you help us by supporting those who came after you with a contribution to this endowment.  Please show the current class and future classes, how much the Military Science program matters to you, how important it is and how much you appreciate these cadets who are taking up the torch of leadership.

“Over time I have drawn from and truly appreciated the lessons we were taught on leadership.  Only the military could have truly prepared me for the assignments I faced.  Therefore, with pride and confidence, I want to repay the military by supporting its future.  The Army has given me so much today that I now need to give something back.”     Bill Moskoff  '65
