Investing in the Power of Women
In March, Miss Porter's School partnered with Sotheby’s Auction House to present By Women, For Tomorrow's Women — The First-Ever All-Women Artist Benefit Auction at a Major Auction House. Through the power of an “all girls” network, this event elevated the visibility of women artists and raised more than $3M for Miss Porter’s School student financial aid, enabling emerging female leaders to attend Miss Porter's School. The video here captures the spirit of the event.
While By Women, For Tomorrow's Women was a huge success by any measure, the need to invest in the power of women is ongoing. The world needs Porter’s graduates more than ever to help solve the challenges we face today. As Oprah Winfrey notes, “Supporting the evolution, the expansion, the education of young girls at Miss Porter’s School is part of what I believe is an investment in the power of women.” Can we count on you to invest in our students?
