The Speech Language Pathology Department at Misericordia University provides cutting-edge services to those with communication disorders: Giving a voice to the voiceless. Supporting this campaign will help defray the cost of providing state-of-the-art assessment and treatment to clients.

Since the center’s inception, faculty and students have successfully treated more than 4,946 clients with articulation disorders, developmental language disorders, developmental apraxia of speech, autism, oral-motor dysfunction, fluency (stuttering) disorder, voice disorders, aphasia, sensory integration dysfunction, and swallowing disorders. They have provided free or reduced rate services to children and adults with communication disorders.
