Jeremy Kuba Occupational Therapy Memorial Scholarship

As we are all aware, the Misericordia University community experienced the tragic loss of their classmate Jeremy Kuba last May. Jeremy was a service oriented and kind young man who was a true leader at MU in so many ways. He brought a smile to everyone he came in contact with and expressed his love for OT to all that he met. He was also a student research fellow focusing on combining sensory based activities and social skills training to increase participation in children with ASD.The Occupational Therapy faculty did recommend the conferral of his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree as they witnessed his ability to work as an OT in many different arenas.
Jeremy is the epitome of the Misericordia University charisms so the Occupational Therapy Department allotted the superlative to him during their virtual celebration as follows:
- Most likely to bring a smile to our face in his memory and inspire us all to be the most service oriented Occupational Therapists that we can be.
Jeremy will forever live in the hearts of the class of 2020, OT faculty and Misericordia community. He set the bar very high for all students that follow him and we will treasure his memory and the compassion that he showed to all. God bless you Jeremy and we know you are with us today in spirit.
