Urban Leadership Program
The Urban Leadership Program (ULP) was established in 2009 as a unique leadership experience at MSU Denver where scholars participate in coursework, experiential learning components, and mentorship. Each student receives a scholarship in addition to training and networking opportunities designed to grow understanding of self, others, and society. The Center for Multicultural Engagement and Inclusion (CMEI) believes that our responsibility is to prepare leaders to tackle societal issues and propose ideas that can lead to positive social change. Further, the CMEI thinks this is manifested through increased focus, attention, and action surrounding Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Although assuming leadership responsibilities in a complicated society is an individual choice, we believe that the Urban Leadership Program should equip every student to do so if they choose to.  

Your Support
The Urban Leadership Program (ULP) is raising funds and asking for your financial support to be applied to scholarships, professional development, service opportunities, and co-curricular programming and initiatives that has an intentional focus on leadership development for students. Your financial support will allow ULP to provide financial assistance for scholarships to assist with tuition, leadership conferences and summits, and overall leadership development and programming. The Urban Leadership Program is appreciative for any support you can provide and thank you for your help in sharing our fundraising campaign with family, friends, and community so that we can further provide an experiential leadership experience for students at MSU Denver.
