SOCKTOBER is back!
During last year's Socktober giving event, our generous Roadrunner family contributed over $14,000 to the Student Emergency Fund and donated 460 pairs of socks to students in need. With your support, we can make this Socktober bigger and better than last year - and at a time when Roadrunners need our support more than ever! 

We are excited to announce that this SOCKTOBER, there are two exclusive MSU Denver designs to choose from for showing your Roadrunner Pride from head-to-toe! For every gift of $25 ($15 is tax-deductible) you make to the Roadrunner Food Pantry, Student Emergency Fund, or the DREAMer Emergency Fund during SOCKTOBER - Oct. 1-31 - you will receive one pair of limited-edition MSU Denver socks AND one pair of socks will be donated to a student in need.

Miss out on last year's sock design? No problem! With your gift of $65 ($35 is tax-deductible), you will receive both 2020 Socktober sock designs and one pair of 2019 Socktober socks. The best part...three pairs of socks will be donated to a student in need for every sock package gift. There are a limited number of sock packages available, so get them before they run out! 

This year, one thing stands out above all others: Roadrunners take care of Roadrunners. Here are just some of the ways donors are caring for Roadrunners at MSU Denver:

• Roadrunner Food Pantry - The Student Care Center has met the needs of over 500 hungry students with electronic gift cards to supplement trips to the grocery store. 
• Student Emergency Fund- Applications for emergency aid has grown by 1,300% since March. The generosity of our donors made it possible to disburse over $230,000 to more than 200 students over the last academic year. 
• DREAMer Emergency Fund - This fund was created to provide direct relief grants to our DREAMer students with financial need. To ensure an equitable approach, the funds – which can be used for housing, tuition, books and more – will be distributed in the same way as CARES Act funds. 

Roadrunner generosity knows no bounds, and during our students' time of need, this support is critical. Together, we can make an impact and ensure our students can continue to reimagine all that is possible for their futures.
