Roadrunner Athlete Alley
The Metropolitan State University of Denver athletics department and student-athletes created a group to educate our department on Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Roadrunner Athlete Alley was formed to establish and maintain an inclusive culture that fosters equitable participation for student-athletes, coaches, and administrators. Diversity and Inclusion improve the learning environment for all student-athletes and enhance excellence within the NCAA. Through their leadership, our core areas of focus are Disability, International, LGBTQ, Race/Ethnicity, and Women.
Mission Statement
Diversity, equity and inclusion is the essence of MSU Denver. Our mission is to explore sensitive topics and seek to educate others. United as student athletes, we appreciate the differences in race, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability, and nationality.
Your Support
MSU Denver’s Day of Giving campaign will help provide programming and education, which sustains foundation of a diverse and inclusive culture across dimensions of diversity including, but not limited to age, race, sex, class, creed, educational background, religion, gender identity, disability, gender expression, geographical location, income, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, and work experiences. Programming and education will enhance opportunities to bring in speakers from different backgrounds to help support our cause.
