The Department of Speech Language Hearing Sciences (SLHS) will welcome its inaugural cohort of graduate students in June. As part of our graduate program, we will be opening an on-campus clinic where members of the Auraria Campus and greater Denver communities can receive evaluations and interventions for a variety of disorders/differences including speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communication. Services are available to individuals of all ages. All evaluations and treatments will be provided by graduate students under the supervision of licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs). These services will be offered free of charge to expand access to services and decrease health disparities in the greater Denver community.
Since we will be offering services at no cost to our clients, we need to find other ways to financially support the clinical education of our graduate students.
Your Support
Funds raised will be used to provide parking vouchers to clients who are unable to afford campus parking rates, buy furniture to make an inviting and comfortable waiting area for clients and to purchase materials for clinicians to use in sessions
