Department of Nutrition Dietetic Internship
The Department of Nutrition is raising funds for the MSU Denver Dietetic Interns. It takes MSU Denver’s nutrition students seven years of hard work and tuition to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists. Nutrition students must earn a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and complete an accredited dietetic internship. To be successful, they must maintain a high GPA and engage in extracurricular activities.
The Department of Nutrition is also raising funds for the Bruce Rengers and Cynthia Dormer Dietetic Internship Endowment. This fund provides scholarships for students entering the University’s Dietetic Internship Program in honor of long-time, dedicated Department of Nutrition faculty members, Dr. Bruce Rengers and Dr. Cynthia Dormer.
Your Support
Funds raised during MSU Denver’s Day of Giving will be provided to MSU Denver Dietetic Interns to assist them with paying for the cost of a Dietetic Internship. The Dietetic Internship at MSU Denver costs $15,821, and that does not include housing or transportation. These funds will help alleviate the burden our students are facing to pay for their education.
