The MSU Denver Club Dance Team is responsible for attending and performing at home basketball, volleyball, and various community events. The culmination of our hard work throughout the season concludes with our competition team attending Nationals in April.
Nationals is a highly competitive dance competition held every year in Daytona Beach, Florida by the National Dance Alliance. Over the last few years we have consistently placed in the top 10 for DII Hip Hop. This year, for the first time in program history, our team is competing in both the Hip Hop and Jazz categories.
We have brought in acclaimed choreographers to help bring attention to our outstanding program here at MSU Denver. But with the extra commitments come extra costs. The majority of our nationals trip is funded by our team dues. In order to ease these costs we are aiming to fundraise $2,500 to directly go to registration, hotel, flight, and uniform costs for our Daytona trip.
