MSU Denver Tennis is diligently working towards earning the opportunity to compete in the PacWest Championship and securing a spot in the NCAA postseason tournament. Last spring, our men’s team narrowly missed qualification for the NCAA tournament, but both programs successfully qualified for the PacWest tournament. Our teams excelled academically last fall, with both programs achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, our student-athletes received academic awards last year, and also dedicated a combined 301 hours to supporting the Denver community, earning a national community service award.
Roadrunners Tennis is seeking to raise funds for various areas, and your donation will contribute to expenses required for team warm-ups, uniforms, on-court equipment, a new stringer, and travel expenses. The funds raised will enable our student-athletes to have the best possible experience while attending MSU Denver.
We are planning a spring break trip to California from Mar 14-22, and our conference tournament will take place in Surprise, Arizona from April 17-21. These trips are exceptional opportunities for our student-athletes to compete against high-quality opponents, providing them with a first-class experience and the necessary tools to excel on the court.
Your Support
Roadrunners Tennis has set a fundraising goal of $5,000, which will cover a portion of our Spring Break trip and assist in purchasing team warm-ups, uniforms, on-court equipment, and a new stringer. We are also actively working to fundraise in other ways to supplement these costs. Your generous support provides our program with the necessary funds to enhance the student-athlete experience, facilitate competitive recruitment, ensure high-quality travel, promote student-athlete development, and make upgrades to our tennis facility.
