Dancer

Inspired by MCA Denver's Cowboy exhibit, Dancer is a production choreographed by MSU Denver professors and students that explores individual and societal conceptions of "the dancer." The production draws upon actual lived experiences, archetypes, myths, and perceived societal images and challenges stereotypes that confine "the dancer." Dancer highlights the rich history, present, and future of those who use movement as a potent language. Dancer is a celebration of MSU Denver dance students' incredible talent and dedication. This performance promises to be captivating, with a diverse range of dance styles and choreography performed by MSU Denver dancers.
