Cohen Pacesetter Scholars
Students in the Cohen Pacesetter Scholars program will receive a scholarship and access to tutoring, mentoring, a paid internship, student support services tailored to their needs and special programming to build community and skills. Research shows that students who are part of a comprehensive program that includes a scholarship, support services and mentoring are more likely to graduate from college. In addition, MSU Denver’s data indicates that students who participate in at least three high-impact practices have a 90% retention rate.
The Cohen Pacesetter Scholars Program will be the first of its kind at MSU Denver. With your support, hundreds of future Roadrunners will have access to a college education, find the support they need to succeed and graduate into promising careers. This investment will change the lives of our students, the lives of their families and the economic future of Colorado. This unique endowed scholarship program will allow hundreds of students who don’t qualify for TRIO or other programs to get the support they need to realize their American Dream.
