Department of Communication

Giving to this fund will provide Department of Communication students from all five of our majors with financial assistance for numerous professional development opportunities: site visits to film/broadcasting production studios and public relations agencies; fees associated with student applications, registration and travel costs for academic and professional conferences (ECA, NCUR, PRSSA), domestic and international film festivals and awards programs (EMMY, Keystone, and Pinnacle college media awards); and funding for special student projects such as junior-senior films, senior research, and more. It would also assist with purchasing equipment upgrades to ensure our students stay marketable through proficiency with industry-standard gear.
