Hunger Clean-Up 30th Anniversary
About Hunger Clean-Up
In 1989 Hunger Clean-Up began as a modest, student-led effort to combat hunger and homelessness in Milwaukee. Hunger Clean-Up has grown to be Marquette's largest day of service. Approximately 1,500 students, staff, faculty and alumni come together each April to volunteer with over 50 agencies across Milwaukee.
Why Donate?
Some of the funds raised pays for transportation to service sites, tools, etc. The rest of the funds raised goes directly to the Milwaukee community. Each year the Hunger Clean-Up leadership team chooses one organization, our Community Spotlight, to receive a donation to support their work in the community.
Community Spotlight
This year's Community Spotlight is Walker's Point Youth and Family Center. The mission of Walker's Point Youth & Family Center is to meet the needs of runaway, homeless, and other troubled youth and their families. All services they provide are free! Help Us Reach Our Goal - 500 DONORS!
Whether you can donate $1, $20, or $100 your generosity is appreciated and goes right back to the Milwaukee community.
