When Coach Jon VanderWal arrived in 2007, Marietta was playing in front of 75 fans and the Pioneers barely scratched out six victories. His faith in what we could build at Marietta never wavered, though, and now Marietta College has achieved a historic victory, breaking a school record for wins in a season with 29 and earning its first trip to the Final Four.
The Marietta College men's basketball team will face top-ranked Randolph-Macon College on Friday, March 18, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. inside the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Our record-breaking men's basketball team will depart Marietta on Wednesday, March 16, to compete in the NCAA D-III Final Four. If you're in the Mid-Ohio Valley and want to show your support in person, we invite you to join us for a send-off rally on campus.
Their bus leaves at 2:00 p.m. for Fort Wayne, Indiana. Join us in front of the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center (DBRC) as we send them off in style. Be sure to wear your Navy Blue & White Pioneer gear and bring your outside voice as we cheer for this historic team!
