Final Four Face Off

85% of $8,800 goal
This campaign ended on March 31, 2022, but you can still make a gift to Marietta College by clicking here!

When Coach Jon VanderWal arrived in 2007, Marietta was playing in front of 75 fans and the Pioneers barely scratched out six victories. His faith in what we could build at Marietta never wavered, though, and now Marietta College has achieved a historic victory, breaking a school record for wins in a season with 29 and earning its first trip to the Final Four.

The Marietta College men's basketball team will face top-ranked Randolph-Macon College on Friday, March 18, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. inside the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Join us in cheering on the Pioneers and our trip to the national championship as we celebrate all this remarkable team has accomplished. Your gift today will not only support our record-breaking players, but ensure their fellow students are able to travel from Marietta to support the Pioneers in person, too. Thank you for your support!

A new stretch goal!

Thank you to the dozens of alumni, staff, families and friends who showed their support for the Pioneers with a gift so far! Thanks to your generosity, we have fully funded the fan bus, enabling students to travel to Fort Wayne free-of-charge.

However, some of the Pioneers' loudest supporters still need our help - Marietta College Cheerleaders! Your gift today will help underwrite the cost of their trip, providing transportation, accommodation and meals while they cheer the Pioneers on to victory in Fort Wayne.

Go Pios!
