About

The Wildcat Food Pantry was created to support Linfield students who are struggling with food insecurity. In the Fall of 2019 the Office of Community Engagement researched the prevalence and effects of food insecurity among Linfield’s student body. The findings of this research indicated that 40.89% of students reported that they had experienced hunger in the last 30 days because they could not afford food. As a way to address this issue, the Community Engagement Office developed and implemented the Wildcat Food Pantry to support students in need.
