Linfield students are experiencing significant hardships as a result of the current COVID-19 crisis. Many students and their families are dealing with job loss and financial insecurity, and are expressing the need for help with tuition, housing, books and other necessary expenses beyond the scholarship awards they have received, which affects their ability to return to Linfield this fall, or to enter as new students.
As a family, the Linfield community has always been committed to supporting our students. This time is different in that the need is even greater. The COVID-19 Student Aid Fund will be utilized to fill students' needs during this crisis in order to attend Linfield. Support from this fund will be one-time and based on need.
Your gift to the COVID-19 Student Aid Fund will be matched dollar for dollar by our generous Board of Trustees. Their match will go to the Linfield Fund to provide critical flexible funding needed to help strategically address emerging needs of the college, many related to the current challenges.
