Programming for LC State Students Includes:
- Student Leader Training: A week where student leaders including student government (ASLCSC), Warrior Entertainment Board (WEB), Peer Mentors, and Resident Assistants (RA’s) receive training to develop their leadership skills and learn more about the positive impact they can have on their fellow students and campus community.
- Paint Party: Students have the chance to come together for a night of music, fun, and getting covered in paint as they dance the night away! This event is a fun and energizing way to kick off the school year.
- Welcome Fair: Students learn about campus, interact with student clubs, and connect with local businesses and resources. It’s the best way for students to kick-start their fall semester.
- Fan Fest: Throughout the year Student Involvement helps support Warrior Athletics by hosting Fan Fest where students can get game-ready with everything from face paint and hair tinsel to poster making and discounts at the concession stand. We help students get their game face on to cheer on the Warriors!
- Grad Fest: Students who are graduating in the fall have the opportunity to apply to graduate, talk to financial aid, learn more about the Alumni Association, check out grad announcements from the Graphic Communications Print Shop, get a free Grad T-shirt, and more all in one convenient place.
- NACA: Each year Student Involvement takes a group of student leaders from ASLCSC and Warrior Entertainment Board (WEB) to the western region National Association for Campus Activities conference where students attend workshops, network with other student leaders from around the country, and learn about different activities and entertainers they can bring back to campus for their fellow students. This year we also won two awards, WEB won the logo design category and ASLCSC won the social media campaign category.
- SUB Fest: Student Involvement, First Year Experience, and Residence Life team up to host SUB Fest to launch the spring semester by introducing students to the wide variety of student clubs and organizations they can join through interactive games and activities.
