Lees-McRae Summer Theatre is always a seasonal highlight that provides quality entertainment while offering Lees-McRae Theatre Arts and Musical Theatre students the opportunity to participate in professional theatre.
Previous seasons have included productions of Broadway hits like “Bright Star” and “Matilda: The Musical,” variety shows featuring local and regional talent, and original musicals by Lees-McRae faculty emeritus and Summer Theatre Artistic Director Janet Barton Speer.
When 100 donors make a gift to Summer Theatre, they'll unlock a $15,000 challenge to the program from Skyline/Skybest, a long-time supporter.
