The economic crisis in Lebanon has left over 40% of the population living in poverty. A significant portion of the population lacks insurance coverage. Furthermore, the Lebanese government has been forced to suspend subsidies. Boldly facing these crises, LAU Medical Centers have taken remarkable measures to ensure health care access. LAU Medical Centers bear 20% of medical costs. Despite this support, many patients still struggle to cover the remaining costs.
In honor of LAU’s centennial and building on the legacy of 100 years of service, the LAU Health Foundation has established the Patient Care Fund to provide support for patients who lack adequate insurance coverage or have no private insurance. Your donation provides critical care for patients at LAU Medical Centers.
