At Lawrence Technological University the belief of practice and theory is taken with great pride. This is done through a capstone project during our senior year. The Blue Devil Motorsports Formula SAE Internal Combustion Team at LTU gives us the opportunity to put our skills to the test as we design, fabricate, test, and compete with over 100 other universities around the world!
Over the course of three semesters, we experience what it's like to be on a real engineering team and connect with future employers to help prepare us to enter the field upon graduation. Every year, we create a Formula style race car and participate in a series of events that culminates in four days at Michigan International Speedway where we get to push the limits of our self-made vehicle.
