Bear Madness has begun! Does your class have what it takes to be named the victor? Earn points to represent your class during the March Bear Madness Challenge. Classes will compete to increase their class participation to support the Landon Annual Fund starting March 1. First leader board announcing the Elite Eight will be released Thursday, March 11 at 2 pm. The Final Four will be announced March 15, and the winner on March 18. The winning class will be recognized in the next Landon Annual Report, Magazine, and the Alumni Newsletter.
Please consider giving today and having your gift matched by fellow Landon alumni Billy Fort '98, Peter Reyes '85 and Ali Fardshisheh '97. Your donation will be matched with $200 for every new donation made up to $20,000 by March 18.
Your participation in this giving challenge demonstrates your commitment to the school and makes an investment for future generations. Each year, alumni show their BEAR PRIDE by giving back. Gifts can be directed to areas with a personal meaning to you – Academics and Technology, Campus Health and Safety, Arts, Athletics, Faculty Development, Financial Aid, DEI initiatives, or Area of Greatest Need. Alumni giving also recognizes contributions to endowments, capital gifts, planned gifts and bequests.
The Landon Alumni Office has also released a Landon Alumni March Madness Tournament Challenge. Alumni will be able to enter their picks for who will win the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship. First, second, and third place will receive a credit to the school store. Join us next month for Bear Madness. Group password is "Landon". Please make sure your bracket full name includes your name and class year. “Landon will always be a special place for our family. I find myself looking for reasons to return to campus, attend Father’s Visiting Day, and catch up with people like Steve Sorkin, Rob Bordley, Frank Mora, Bill Zaiser, Lowell Davis, and Hans Farnstrom. Landon has done a fantastic job shaping my two boys (’21 and ’22). I look forward to staying connected through the Alumni Board.”

“When I lost my father, Landon was a savior for me as a young boy. Landon served as a second family to me. My Landon friends have been there for me. They show up when showing up matters most. To the teachers, coaches, parents, and classmates who supported me, I can only say—I am sincerely grateful.”

“The ten formative years I spent at Landon gave me structure, consistent support, love, and discipline. It gave me a solid foundation based on the core values of honor, respect, and service to others. It’s hard to adequately measure how Landon has positively shaped my life.”
