The Annual Fund supports Lake Country's Montessori pedagogy that "follows the child", supports our dedicated faculty and staff, provides for our tuition assistance program, ongoing equity and justice work, and maintains our urban and rural campuses to connect children and adolescents with nature and inspire exploration, discovery, and joy.

Lake Country went cuckoo for cocoa yesterday after school (don't worry, next year we'll bring more marshmallows)! Thank you to all who came out to enjoy a nice warm beverage, and thank you to our neighbor's Butter Bakery & Cafe for supplying the sweet treat!

It's safe to say that School Spirit Day was a smashing success! Students and staff from all levels got in on the fun, with socks, tattoos, and more LCS blue and green than you could imagine. We'll see you tomorrow for hot chocolate after school!
80 days ago by Harrison McLeanWe kicked off LCS Gives week in style this morning, with our first-ever LCS Gives assembly! We gathered as a school to celebrate in true Lake Country School fashion by singing, talking with our mentors and mentees about what LCS Gives us and what we give LCS, and capping off with an appearance from our favorite walleye, Wander! We also took time to pay tribute to one of our founders, Larry Schaefer, and celebrate the success of the Council of Children's Pitch in for Precious efforts, which raised money to purchase a painting of Precious the Llama that will hang at the Lodge at the Land School.
Finally, much to the delight of the students in attendance, we revealed the design for this year's LCS Gives socks! Don't forget that tomorrow is School Spirit Day at LCS, so be sure to wear your new socks and any other LCS Swag/blue and green you have in your wardrobe!
LCS Gives Week is officially underway! We're so excited to celebrate everything LCS with our students, faculty and staff, families, and other community members all week long!
