Dr. Joseph Moerschbaecher, III Graduate Research Day (Graduate Studies Excellence Fund)
The late Dr. Joseph Moerschbaecher, III, former Dean and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, was a huge supporter of students and research. To honor him and his contributions, Graduate Research Day was renamed in his honor. Support for the Graduate Studies Excellence Fund allows us to host the Dr. Joseph Moerschbaecher, III Graduate Research Day, which serves as a showcase for the presentation of student and post-doctoral fellow research. The fund also provides resources for professional development and interdisciplinary training through our Centers of Excellence and Basic Science Departments and the training of the next generation of Clinician Scientists through the combined MD/PhD program. Graduate Studies Student Travel Fund
This travel fund for Graduate Studies Students supports students that attend National Meetings to present their research. Most have very limited travel funds on their grants and this helps to offset the cost. Help our brilliant Graduate Studies Students shine on a national stage when you give GOLD geaux purple!
