Spring Alumni Weekend

This event is an opportunity designed to provide space for our diverse students and alumni to connect and build community. 

The event kicks off at 4 p.m.in the Multicultural Center with drinks and light hors d'oeuvres.

Kick Off KU Spring Alumni Weekend with Happy Hour at Saucony Brewery!

Join us on Friday, April 25th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Saucony Brewery for a fun and relaxed Happy Hour to start KU Spring Alumni Weekend! Reconnect with old friends, network with fellow alumni, and enjoy a great selection of craft beers and appetizers to purchase!

This facility is home to KU's growing collection of music, photos, and artifacts, along with the rare and valuable vintage collection of mallet percussion instruments that have been acquired over three decades. Take a guided tour of the facility and enjoy the sounds of the music. The building will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Join us for a Golden Bear Breakfast Buffet as we kick off our inaugural KU Spring Alumni Day on Saturday, April 26.  Stop by the tent located next to the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research after 9 a.m. and enjoy some breakfast refreshments before venturing out on to campus.  This is a complimentary event, but registrations are required for planning purposes.  We hope to see you there!

Explore the Stars with KU Foundation & Grim Science Building!

Join us on Saturday, April 26, 2025, for a special astronomy event featuring two captivating showings led by Dr. Phill Reed.

Showtimes:  10 a.m. (Limited seating—early registration recommended!)

In addition to the showings, enjoy guided observatory tours and a Q&A session, all as part of the KU Spring Alumni Day celebrations.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the wonders of the universe with fellow alumni and astronomy enthusiasts!

Tour of the most recent addition to the Boehm Science Building, the Nancy Jean Stump Seiger ’54 Botanical Greenhouse.  View the breathtaking facility and enjoy the many varieties of greens that are vastly growing in this state-of-the-art greenhouse.  Open house is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Join us in Boxwood as we gather to appreciate our friendships, the KU campus and each other! We will have an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Light refreshments will be available. 

Join us for our Golden Bear Lunch Buffet as we continue our Spring Alumni Day celebration!  The buffet will be under the tent aside of the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research and will open at 11:30 a.m. This is a complimentary event but registrations are required for planning purposes!  We hope to see you there!

Join Us for the Art Education Senior Exhibition!

The Miller Art Gallery in the Sharadin Art Building will be open on Saturday, April 26, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for a special showcase of creativity and talent.

This year’s Art Education Senior Exhibition features a diverse collection of artwork across all mediums, created by KU students preparing to become art educators in schools and alternative education settings.

Join us in the Georgian Room starting at 1 p.m. for a meet and greet with the current KU Radio staff!  Walk down memory lane as they reminisce past years in KU Radio history!  Light refreshments will be served. 

Join us in MSU 223 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the Network & Nostalgia Alumni Mixer. The Black Student Union invite you to attend a reception prior to their annual Gala. BSU Alumni will get a chance to catch up with one another and get to know current students.
