It's Founders Day and #KnoxProud Day! Since its founding in 1837, Knox has embraced its values as an educational institution that believed deeply in the potential of every human being to learn, grow and contribute to the greater good of the community.
#KnoxProud day raises hundreds of thousands of dollars in a single day in support of scholarships, faculty excellence, athletics, immersive experiences and internships, health and wellness initiatives and the residential experience. Every gift makes a positive impact at Knox.
This year, we’re upping our game and inspiring enthusiastic donors and friends to celebrate what makes Knox special and invest in its future. Matches and challenges will be available to double the impact of gifts and/or unlock challenge funds.
Founders Day and #KnoxProud Day creates opportunities and changes lives. Thank you for making it possible!
Thank you to everyone who joined in the Founders Day celebrations by making a gift for #KnoxProud Day, gathering at a Knox Club event, raising a Knox-themed drink or fork at a Galesburg restaurant, or sharing their Knox love with their network. You all made a difference yesterday in supporting our Knox community.
768 days ago by Sandra GrayThere are only a few hours left until the end of both Founders Day and #KnoxProud Day celebrations! We have just surpassed $1,000,000, and with your support, we can go even further to meet the remaining challenges and exceed our goals!

The race between alumni from the 60s and alumni from the 70s was close, and we've got the totals here. Drumroll please...
The 1960s raised the most dollars, an incredible $175,861! The 1970s did a great job as well and brought in $155,176!
On the other hand, alumni from the 1970s had 212 donors participate, while 122 donors made a contribution from the 1960s.
Thank you to BOTH decades for your support throughout the day. Looks like you both get some type of bragging rights ;)
Your support is truly appreciated!
The Knox alumni from the decade of the 60s challenge the alumni from the 70s. How does it work? Simple.
During KPD 2023, the 60s contributors and those from the 70s donate any amount, to any Knox fund family. At the completion of all KPD donation and contribution events, grand totals for each decade are determined. The decade winner achieves bragging rights until KPD 2024.
Meanwhile, the loser sharpens its future strategy. Either way, Knox gets all monies raised.
Mid-Day Update!!!
The 1960's are ahead on dollars raised - $148,728 to $90,058.
The 1970's are ahead on donors - 101 to 75.
And Knox students are winning because of all your support!
