This year's Senior Class of 2024 is raising funds towards their Senior Gift, a historic mural by 2023 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year K.O. Lewis '08. The mural will be located on the first floor of the Barnard-Jones Administration Building in the lobby for all of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors to enjoy! Our Seniors have worked hard this year to raise funds towards their $5,000 goal, but they need your help! We have a goal of $1,000 for this campaign.
Any funds raised past the $5,000 goal will be donated to the Class of 2025 to give them a head start with their fundraising.

471 days ago by Summer AldridgeKentucky Wesleyan College’s Class of 2024 announced plans for its Senior Class Gift in March. This year, the graduating seniors will be gifting a historic mural created by KWC alumnus and local artist K.O. Lewis ’08. The mural will be located on the first-floor lobby inside the Barnard-Jones Administration Building.
The soon-to-be alumni have been hard at work developing the mural concept and raising the funds needed since the fall semester. They are approximately $1,500 away from their goal and are looking to their community to help them cross the finish line.
“It’s been a great year working on this project,” shared KWC senior committee member Sophia Tsiralidis ’24. “We wanted our class gift to celebrate the rich history of Kentucky Wesleyan while also beautifying our campus. Having the artwork created by a Kentucky Wesleyan alumnus makes it even more special and I can’t wait to see it come to fruition!”
The students, along with help from 2023 Outstanding Alumnus of the Arts Lewis and the KWC Alumni Association, are working toward a completion date of May 3 – just one day before they’ll walk across the stage and become Kentucky Wesleyan College graduates at the College’s 156th Annual Commencement.

The mockup is the concept created by the Class of 2024. Details of the mural are still being finalized and the artist will use the mockup to create his own original piece in the coming weeks.
