It all started with a dream! Father Sill’s vision to start Kent School became a reality because of the many friends who understood that whatever they could offer would make a difference.

Alumni: To keep the original rivalry going, the alumni class year with the most donors will be displayed (virtually) around campus Reunion Weekend!
Parents: Keep the competition going. The parent class year will be displayed (virtually) around campus on Spring Family Day!
Did you know?
- On April 22, 1906, Father Sill released his first statement of finances totaling $2,403.
- It cost $40 a month to rent the original farmhouse and $200 to begin the school.
- In the spring of 1907, $3,000 cash and a $3,000 mortgage provided the funds for a permanent site for Kent School.
- The final $1,000 raised, “enough to put him over the top,” came from two friends.

Today, Friday, April 22, marks Kent School's fifth annual donor participation challenge! A Texan alumnus has made a challenge as big as the Lone Star State and asks his friends to join him. He will donate an additional $30,000 to Kent School if 30 Texans donate today. Please join him to make everything bigger in Texas. Let's go big!
