JHSON Courtyard Oasis Rebirth
The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing had a special courtyard that was an oasis for rest and recuperation for both students and staff. Fondly known as the Courtyard, it served as an event space, relaxation hub, graduation picture background, and was home to the famous frog statue honoring nurses that sat by the fountain. Both the courtyard and the frog statue have been famous symbols of the School for decades. However, with the new building renovation and expansion, a new courtyard is to be built that will house the famous frog statue once again.
The funds in this campaign are going towards the renovation of the Courtyard. The Courtyard will be a space for students, faculty, and staff to relax and reflect escaping their busy day for a few moments. The tranquil courtyard will include a beautiful fountain and Zen-like meditation garden creating a stress-free and peaceful environment to promote wellness for the School of Nursing community.
