At Global Health NOW, we deliver the essential news and views in global health to anyone, anywhere, at no cost.
Our goal: Inform and inspire our smart, passionate community of readers.
This year, we’ve shared news of the almost-daily evolutions of the Omicron subvariants; the heartbreaking crises in Ukraine, Ethiopia, and elsewhere; the reversal of Roe v. Wade; and many other developments shaping global health. And, just as we have for the past 8 years, we’ve published our newsletter as a free resource to everyone interested in global health.
For our second annual campaign, we’re calling on you, our loyal readers, to contribute to Global Health NOW’s mission. With 50,000+ readers in 170 countries, we are more than a newsletter. We’re a community of smart individuals who care about human health.
We invite you to join our mission and help us build on the success of GHN, an initiative of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Support from loyal readers has helped us produce more than 240 newsletter issues in the past year and launch our Local Reporting Initiative, which is building a global network of reporters skilled in explaining their countries’ pressing health issues. Since launching the Initiative, we’ve published 13 articles from 8 countries on 5 continents. And we’re just getting started.
With your help, we will build on a strong history of publishing news articles that you’ll read nowhere else, including: the story of an early monkeypox patient in Portugal, a solution to homelessness in Lima, and the persistence of leprosy in India.
Subscribers like you empower GHN to inform perspectives and, hopefully in turn, help protect human health. Please support global health journalism today and help us expand our mission to share critical, timely knowledge on a global scale.
