#MeetTheNeed for IES Abroad Scholarships

We are delighted to share an update on the students who will be studying abroad this Fall because of your generosity to our #MeetTheNeed campaign last month. Right now, the 54 students awarded scholarships are preparing to embark on study abroad experiences in 17 cities across the globe--from Auckland to Vienna. And they can't thank you enough!

Below meet Jacqueline, an aspiring doctor, who will be studying abroad at IES Abroad Barcelona this Fall. Below she describes the impact of your support:

"Going abroad to Spain will not only allow me to continue to improve my Spanish, but it will also allow me to be exposed to a new culture. To be the best doctor I can be, I know that being well-rounded is crucial...

Donors have allowed me to get to where I am today and I am forever grateful to these people for allowing me to make something of myself. It hasn't always been easy for me as a low-income and first-generation student, but with the help of very generous people I am one step closer to fulfilling my dreams of becoming a doctor and providing a better life for my family."

Over the summer, we look forward to sharing a few more stories with you. Thank you again for investing in our students and their futures. Your support not only helps them individually, but will have a lasting impact on their families, communities, and the world beyond.

Your generous support, along with gifts to our Sponsor a Student program has allowed us to give full or partial financial aid to all 54 students with financial need seeking to study abroad this Fall! This is incredible news and without you it wouldn’t have been possible.
