The Reunion Breakfast at Howard University is a cherished tradition for alumni celebrating their 50th anniversary. Held on the morning of Commencement, this event offers a continental breakfast at the Blackburn University Center. Alumni from the classes of 1975, 1970, 1965, 1960, and earlier gather to reconnect, reminisce, and prepare for the day's commencement activities.

Following the Planned Giving Session, Howard University alumni gather for a Champagne Toast to honor Class of 1975’s 50th anniversary.

Following the Champagne Toast, Howard University alumni gather for the Reunion Luncheon. This event will feature a special keynote speaker who addresses the alumni, offering insights and reflections pertinent to their shared experiences and the university's legacy.

The Reunion Boat Cruise at Howard University offers alumni a memorable evening on the Potomac River, featuring a buffet dinner, dancing, and a cash bar. This event provides an opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni while enjoying scenic views of Washington, D.C.'s waterfront.

*The theme of the Reunion Boat Cruise is 70's theme. Please dress to impress. 

We are pleased to invite you to the Commencement Breakfast, featuring a delightful brunch buffet open to all attendees.

Following the breakfast, members of the Class of 1975, adorned in their graduation regalia, will be escorted to their designated seating area. All other alumni are invited to remain and enjoy the commencement ceremony from the general seating area.

The National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) in Washington, D.C., is dedicated to documenting African American life, art, history, and culture. Its exhibitions span from the transatlantic slave trade to contemporary culture, featuring artifacts, photographs, and interactive displays that highlight the African American experience.

For your reunion weekend, alumni will have the opportunity to explore the museum on their own guided tours. Each participant will receive a two-hour window to immerse themselves in the museum's rich collections. After this period, a shuttle will be available outside the building to transport alumni back to The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center hotel.

The Journal Committee are creating a journal for the Howard University Class of 1975. By purchasing a copy, you'll receive an email invitation to share your photograph and biography. The journal will be distributed following Reunion Weekend.
