This campaign ended on December 04, 2018, but you can still make a gift to Hong Kong International School by clicking here!

HKIS offers many opportunities to inspire and grow its students and community.

Through generous donors like you, HKIS is able to award unrivaled scholarships, cultivate service leaders, and invite renowned speakers.

Please see below to find out more about each opportunity.

ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP IN MEMORY OF DAVID F. RITTMANN

The Alumni Scholarship in Memory of David F. Rittmann provides full tuition for worthy and talented students to attend grades 10-12 at HKIS. The scholarships are awarded on a merit and need basis to a local HK student.

Dr. David F. Rittman was HKIS’s longest-serving Head of School, from 1977-1996. He was also an inspiring English teacher and well-loved for his playfulness and love of literature. “David will be remembered as a champion of academic excellence by many thousands, both inside and outside our extended community. All of us who knew David feel blessed that he touched our lives.” -James A. Handrich

JAMES A. HANDRICH SERVICE LEADERSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND

The Endowment grants awards to HKIS High School students and High School Clubs to fund service projects that help further the school's Mission Statement and Student Learning Results, specifically "Self Motivated Learning" and "Contributing to Society". Over the years, dozens of HKIS students have extended their service work thanks to funds from the Handrich Service Leadership Endowment Fund.

Please help us continue to grow the Endowment and produce our next generation of Service Leaders.
