William Smith Field Hockey is in it to win it this year on Athletic Day of Donors.

Your giving provides resources to every student-athlete who competes in our program. COVID-19 may have called a timeout for competitions, but our Herons will be busy training hard this spring so they can be ready when games begin again. Your gift today helps ensure our student-athletes have a robust team experience.

Our top priorities to fund this year are:

Bench Shelters:

Our current fabricated bench shelters were built over 15 years ago. Manufactured shelters will protect athletes from the elements and provide a more professional look while enhancing McCooey Field.

Field Signage:

While McCooey Field is one of the finest Division III field hockey venues in the nation, we are lacking a celebration of our program’s tradition of success. After winning three national champions, two NCAA second place finishes, 22 NCAA tournament appearances and 11 Liberty League Championships, it is time to celebrate our winning tradition with the appropriate recognition.
