Bring the Fountain Back!
On behalf of the Hillsdale College Class of 2019, we are asking for your help to bring back the fountain!
After learning that a beautiful fountain at the center of campus was gifted to the College by the Class of 1886 and then blown up a few decades later in a not-so-funny prank, the Class of 2019 chose to raise funds to help pay for a new fountain. The fountain will serve the Hillsdale community as a social hub, study and lecture space, and beauty mark all-in-one. The Fountain Fund is also an opportunity for students and alumni to play an important part in restoring our beloved quad following the construction of Christ Chapel.
Dedicated to alumni past, present and future, this fountain will unite generations of Hillsdale College alumni and students, and leave a lasting legacy for the place and community that has touched us all so deeply.
We set an ambitious goal of $20,000 for the Class of 2019's contribution to the fountain project. We are so excited to learn that generous friends of the College decided to set up the Muscarella Challenge, which will match every gift $1 for $1 up to $10,000! This is such a great opportunity! We invite YOU to take up the challenge and support this lasting gift on Hillsdale’s campus. Thank you Muscarella family!

If you are an alumnus/a, an annual, recurring gift of $184.40 qualifies a donor for the first level of the Alumni 1844 Society. Membership includes invitations to special events, a lapel pin, etc. Details: 1844 Society, Level I: $184.40 annual ($15.36 per month), Level II: $184.40 bi-annually ($30.73 per month), Level III: $184.40 tri-annually ($46.10 per month), Level IV: 184.40 quarterly ($61.46 per month)
An annual gift of $1,500 with a 10-year commitment qualifies a donor for the traditional level of the President's Club ($15,000 over 10 years/$1,500 a year/$125 a month). We will follow up with you to confirm your commitment and pledge! Membership includes invitations to special events, a framed picture with President Arnn, a regular newsletter, etc.
An annual gift of $2,500 with a 10-year commitment qualifies a donor for the Bronze level of the President's Club ($25,000 over 10 years/$2,500 a year/$208 a month). We will follow up with you to confirm your commitment and pledge! Membership includes invitations to special events, a framed picture with President Arnn, a regular newsletter, etc.
If you're a student, make a gift of $18.44 and join the 1844 Society! Society membership includes an additional commitment of $184.40 spread out over three years. Membership includes a stole at graduation, a brick on the 1844 Society brick walk, and a lapel pin.
