We are excited to celebrate the College's 175th Anniversary this month (December 4, 1844) and its long-standing mission to pursue truth, beauty and goodness through a sound liberal arts education. As beneficiaries of that education and of the thousands of people who make it possible, we are asking alumni to make a gift of any amount this giving season.
We have set an ambitious goal to raise $2 million dollars from 700 alumni in the month of December. We are thrilled to have received a generous matching gift from David and Bonnie ('84) Hough. All alumni gifts will be matched $1 for $1 up to $500,000. The matching funds will be designated to the Hough's Dreams to Reality Scholarship for under-served students. Your gift, however, can be designated anywhere. We are fundraising for the Annual Fund during the Christmas season, which supports critical College functions like operations, scholarships, need-based loans and grants, faculty salaries, student organizations and athletics. Every dollar counts and we are grateful for each of you.
