As a student at Hillsdale College, you probably received some sort of financial support. Maybe it was a scholarship or a need-based grant. And as a Hillsdale graduate, you already know that not one penny of that support came from the federal government.
Did you ever wonder who provided that support to help make Hillsdale College affordable to you and thousands of current and former students? It was people like you!
The net operational cost of one Hillsdale student’s education is approximately $103,000 per academic year. However, because of our generous donors, the average family pays less than $23,000 per year.
These days the average Hillsdale College student receives around $23,0000 in scholarship and need-based grants each year. During our annual Alumni Honor Roll Campaign, this is your chance to pay it forward to current and future Hillsdale College students. And we want to make it easy for you.
You can make a one-time gift, but I would encourage you to consider making a recurring gift as part of the President’s Club or 1844 Society. For the cost of a typical monthly cell phone bill or a monthly streaming service, you can help ensure that Hillsdale remains independent from all taxpayer funding – and become part of a special circle of friends.
And you can direct your gift to any campus fund, including scholarships, capital improvement projects or to an athletic team or student organization.
The President’s Club starts with a commitment of $15,000 over 10 years ($1,500 per year). That breaks down to $125 per month. President’s Club members receive invitations to special College events based on their giving level. 1844 Society members simply commit to making a recurring contribution of any amount.
Know that your gift to the Alumni Honor Roll Campaign is tax-deductible, and you will be listed in the 2023-2024 President’s Report Honor Roll if you make your gift or commitment by June 30. Can we count on you to support the next generation of Hillsdale students?
Help us reach our goal of 300 alumni donors by June 30, 2024!
The Alumni Phonathon is back! We have an excited group of alumni coming to campus this week to help us support the final week of the Alumni Honor Roll campaign. Calling begins Tuesday, June 25. Help us reach our goal of 300 alumni donors by June 30!
