Students Practice Fordlanthropy

This campaign ended on February 17, 2017, but you can still make a gift to Haverford College by clicking here!

Fordlanthropy: noun  ford·lan·thro·py \ford-ˈlan(t)-thrə-pē\

1. Love of Haverford College and Haverfordians
2. In this case: a campus-wide day of giving celebrated on February 16, 2017

Philanthropy, by its very definition, is the desire to promote the welfare of others; Fordlanthropy takes it one step further. Which is why you are being asked today, to practice Fordlanthropy.

One day, one goal… 400 student donors!

It's an ambitious goal, but attainable. Members of the Haverford community—students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends— will be encouraged to participate. During this 24-hour challenge, undergraduates are encouraged to show their Fordlanthropic spirit and give back to the institution that consistently gives them so much. First-years, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are all encouraged to contribute here (via credit card), or through OneCard/cash at Campus tabling locations.

Your assignment for the day: visit the tabling locations, enjoy some cookies, snap a selfie with the mascot, attend the evening informational session, and support Haverford!
