This campaign ended on March 31, 2017, but you can still make a gift to Haverford College by clicking here!

Haverford is committed to helping students succeed, both academically and as members of the community and future leaders in society. Our admission and financial aid policies aim to build a diverse and inclusive community. While Haverford’s financial aid program supports the education of our low-income students—tuition along with room and board—that package does not include discretionary funds. We have heard from our students that there are hidden economic barriers for low-income students to engage fully in the Haverford experience, such as transportation costs to Penn to participate in the 4+1 program, the expense of appropriate attire for job interviews, and the deposits required for study abroad.

LIFTFAR—Low Income and First-in-their Family Assistance and Resources—is a fund to help ensure the success of every Haverford student. This program underscores what we mean when we speak of diversity at Haverford: Regardless of background, every Haverford student is an academic and public leader—and should have access to the right tools to realize their full potential.

Haverford College has long pursued a vision of social justice and ethical practice by and for its members and we strive to be a college where trust, concern, and respect for others are dominant forces. Please consider a special gift to help Haverford live its values.
