This campaign ended on February 27, 2019, but you can still make a gift to Haverford College by clicking here!

LIFTFAR—Low Income and First-in-their-Family Assistance and Resources—helps ensure the success of every Haverford student. While generous, the College’s financial aid policy doesn’t meet all the incidental and unanticipated needs of our low-income and first-in-family students. LIFTFAR helps fill these gaps.

During the 2017-18 academic year, LIFTFAR awarded 168 grants for medical care, academic supplies, transportation, warm winter apparel, and more. The average amount awarded was $228, yet it often made a critical difference to a Ford hoping to study abroad, repair their laptop, or get home at the end of a semester. Your gift will help remove these hidden barriers for low-income students to engage fully in the Haverford experience. When we raise $50,000, the Office of the President will match this amount, leveraging an anonymous gift in support of campus diversity initiatives.

Every student should not merely graduate from Haverford, but should thrive during their time here and beyond. Supporting LIFTFAR makes the College's opportunities more accessible to all students, regardless of of background.
