Specifically for those families who have yet to see all the fun and features of the Makerspace. Located in the McGregor Computer Science Center, this activity is specifically a guided walk to see HMC’s newest crafting machines and student projects.

Join Professor Theresa Lynn to experience a special relativity lecture that your student may have had their first-year at Mudd. First-year students took Physics 23: Special Relativity in the fall. At this re-creation of the first lecture of the course, you can experience the first steps your student took along the way to discovering that time is relative, space is relative, and E=mc^2.”

The schedule is still preliminary, and will be updated online regularly as we get closer to the event. Visit https://www.hmc.edu/parents/fa... to see a full schedule. All paid events are decided and set in time/location, it is our free events that may change as programming gets finalized.

Registration will be open 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. - noon Saturday. Pick up your Family Weekend name tags, meet fellow families, and ask our staff any questions you may have. Registration will always be the place for lost-and-found items throughout the weekend.
