"When thinking about what we, as a student body, want to accomplish this year, unity and togetherness rang loudly. The theme of ONE emphasizes the importance of community and spirit as one whole unit."
-L.J. Shapiro ’16, Gilman School President
We are #OneGilman.
The bracelets – blue rubber bands stamped with “OneGilman” – are everywhere, adorning the wrists of students, faculty, staff, and a certain Headmaster. They are a tangible reminder of the theme School President L.J. Shapiro ’16 for the school year: unity.
In this spirit of unity, a Gilman family has challenged the community to band together in a special #OneGilman gift effort. We need YOU, to help make it a success!
Here is why your participation now is important: In order to meet our goal for the school year, must raise an additional $400,000. Acting as one, we have an opportunity to make a significant advancement towards this goal.
The challenge:
One Week: Make a gift between April 11 -17
One Goal: 300 gifts, of any size, from alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends
When we accomplish our 300 gift goal, the Gilman family issuing the challenge will give an additional $50,000.
Every gift counts! Make your gift today, dedicate it to your favorite faculty member, and help us to spread the word!
Together, we are #OneGilman.

WOW! We did it! In less than One Week we met our One Goal of 300 donations from alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends, earning an additional $50,000 gift to The Gilman Fund.
Thank you for answering the challenge and helping us meet our goal ONE day early!
In the spirit of unity, we came together to help make a difference.
We are #OneGilman.
