2022 GGC Days: Step Up for GGC

Step Up for GGC is a fundraising campaign that takes place during GGC Days. The purpose of GGC Days is to celebrate Georgia Gwinnett College, build awareness of the impact of GGC on our students and community and raise funds for the college.  

By giving to Step Up for GGC, you will be supporting our students and programs through the unrestricted GGC Fund, which provides funding for the areas where it is needed most for student success, or the Student Emergency Fund.

Please make your gift today, and then encourage others to join you via social media, email, texts, phone calls, and personal connections. Advocates like you can also play a critical role by creating personal video pleas, giving matches, or giving challenges. You can even volunteer to become a Step Up Team Captain! 

We are pleased to announce that Tammy and Greg Shumate, Capital City Home Loans, LLC, have issued a $50,000 challenge match for donations from GGC alumni and parents. All donations beginning March 1, 2022 through June 30, 2022 will be matched dollar for dollar to their designated fund accordingly, including GGC Days. Thank you to Tammy and Greg for their incredible generosity!

We’re also excited to announce that all donors of $60 or more to this campaign will receive a pair of custom-designed GGC socks, which cannot be found anywhere else! If you'd like more than one pair of socks, you can do so by giving in increments of $60 or more, with a limit of 4 pairs per donor.
