About the Annual Fund
Alumni have been giving back to Prep since its founding in 1789. This financial support has allowed Georgetown Prep to carry out John Carroll's vision for generations of young men to be shaped into men for others. We hope you will help us carry on that responsibility and ensure the quality of a Georgetown Prep education for our current students as well as those to come.
The Annual Fund is the main fundraising vehicle for Prep to close the gap between tuition and our operating budget.
Why Give?
First, participating in the Annual Fund to the best of your ability is one of the most meaningful ways to show support for Georgetown Prep and the people who make a difference.
Second, the Annual Fund ensures quality in all that Prep is and does. It secures the current educational experience that we, as alumni, have come to value and respect. Our students deserve the best education that we can provide.
Third, donors who we approach for major investments in Prep put a high premium on the percentage of alumni and parents that support the Annual Fund. Generous and widespread support indicates to them that โthe customers are satisfiedโ and the school is worthy of their investment.
What is our Goal?
Our goal for the 2017-18 Annual Fund is 40% Alumni Participation - 1,900 Alumni. Check out the list of alumni who have supported the Annual Fund already!
With three hours left alumni have surpassed their success last year and have hit 42% participation. 50% of our classes have also already reached or exceeded the 40% mark. We will send out a full report later this week.
THANK YOU for enabling Georgetown Prep to carry on the work of St. Ignatius in the formation of Men for Others.

Gentlemen,
We are on pace to hit 40% again. Below is an updated chart to see how your class is doing. Make sure to encourage your classmates to participate!

Gentlemen of Georgetown,
We have 5 days left and 450 alumni to go until we repeat last year's success of 40% participation. This is on pace with last year, and we need that same groundswell of support this final week. If you are wondering how your class ranks, check out the chart below. Thank you to all that have given!
Surprised your classmates, teammates or relatives haven't stepped up to the plate yet, encourage them to give back to Prep online or Venmo @GeorgetownPrep. All gifts support the margin of excellence Prep is known for as well as help increase alumni relations activities. Alumni giving rates are also important factors when Prep applies for grants or requests major gifts. It shows you, as alumni, appreciated your Prep experience and are still invested members of the community.
Hoya Saxa and THANK YOU,
Dani Perraut DeWitt
Associate Director of Development

Alumni heard the call and have responded. We went from the bottom of the barrel four years ago with only 14% of alumni giving to last year reaching 40% alumni giving! This year we are looking to surpass that record of 40%. St. Albans is at 43% and Episcopal "High School" is at 50% so we know as Prep men we can certainly get there.
Thank you for joining me and giving back to Prep. Alumni and Parents gave generously during our time at Prep and I am happy to pay it forward for future Prep students. We are a small community of about 5,000 alumni so every gift maters and moves the needle for alumni participation.
The books close June 30 so click donate now, venmo @GeorgetownPrep or send a check to 10900. Just don't forget to make your gift today!
If you already made your gift, thank you, please encourage your classmates to give as well. Below is a list of how each class fares so far.
Hoya Saxa!

2002 days ago by Dani Perraut DeWittWe are ten days in and halfway to our goal of 40% alumni participation. The Class of 2018 joined the ranks of the alumni this past week. 100% of this year's graduating class gave to the Annual Fund. This is the first class to achieve this accomplishment. Check out the video where they thank you for your continued support. Please know that every gift is appreciated!
