About the Annual Fund

Alumni have been giving back to Prep since its founding in 1789. This financial support has allowed Georgetown Prep to carry out John Carroll's vision for generations of young men to be shaped into men for others.  We hope you will help us carry on that responsibility and ensure the quality of a Georgetown Prep education for our current students as well as those to come.

The Annual Fund is the main fundraising vehicle for Prep to close the gap between tuition and our operating budget.

Why Give?

First, participating in the Annual Fund to the best of your ability is one of the most meaningful ways to show support for Georgetown Prep and the people who make a difference.

Second, the Annual Fund ensures quality in all that Prep is and does. It secures the current educational experience that we, as alumni, have come to value and respect. Our students deserve the best education that we can provide.

Third, donors who we approach for major investments in Prep put a high premium on the percentage of alumni and parents that support the Annual Fund. Generous and widespread support indicates to them that “the customers are satisfied” and the school is worthy of their investment.

What is our Goal?

Our goal for the 2017-18 Annual Fund is 40% Alumni Participation - 1,900 Alumni. Check out the list of alumni who have supported the Annual Fund already!
