FHU alumnus Mr. Douglas Robbins has issued a special challenge to Freed-Hardeman. On November 4, 2021, he is challenging 600 people to make a gift of any size during the 2021 FHU Challenge Day of Giving, and when we do, he will make a $30,000 gift to benefit FHU students.
As one of the projects participating in the FHU Challenge, the FHU College of Education faculty and students are raising money to support the Bobbie Solley Center for Excellence in Teaching!
The Bobbie Solley Center for Excellence in Teaching provides high-quality professional development sessions intended to support the Center's mantra that "Teacher WILL BE empowered and instruction WILL BE transformed as we strive for the goal of reaching EACH student not only today but for life."
To help meet the FHU Challenge, and support this important work of mentoring educators, today the College of Education faculty and students are asking 40 people to support this project.
Will you make a gift today to support the Bobbie Solley Center for Excellence in Teaching?
Not only will your gift help the Bobbie Solley Center for Excellence in Teaching, but your gift will also move us forward in the FHU Challenge, which can benefit all FHU students!
FHU Family you are amazing!
You answered the challenge with more than 600 gifts being made and Mr. Robbins has given $30,000 to benefit students!
But the day is still going strong and we have another exciting challenge. Once we reach 800 donors an anonymous donor is providing another $20,000 to benefit students!
