Heritage Scholarship & Black Graduation

This campaign ended on December 02, 2018, but you can still make a gift to Foothill-De Anza Foundation by clicking here!

Over the past few years the De Anza College Black Faculty, Staff and Administrators (BFSA) Network has spearheaded the Annual Black Graduation and Achievement (BGA) Ceremony and awarded the Heritage Scholarships supported by your generous donations. The BGA Ceremony serves to acknowledge the individual and collective achievements of African American students in reaching academic excellence and success, against all odds. While the Heritage Scholarship provides financial support to offset the rising cost of higher education. The 2019 goal is to award at least three $1,000 scholarships to students dedicated to academic excellence, leadership and service to the African American community. Your donations and ongoing support will marshal our students now and in the future to be the leaders of change for African Americans and the African diaspora.

Thank you for your support!
