The Family Engagement Institute brings College to Community and Community to College. FEI leads to promote college-going identities and aspirations to elevate the talent and voice of underserved communities through multigenerational pathways. FEI equals first-generation –first in family– student success.
Since 2010 FEI has served historically marginalized communities to:
- Enroll 8000+ parents/caregivers in college bridge courses
- Provide professional development to 1700+ educators
- Prepare 950+ children to be school-ready
- Mentor 400+ first generation college bound youth
Help us celebrate our 10th year in 2020 as FEI continues its commitment for another 10 years to re-envision our educational system to best serve all of California’s future generations.
