The Family Engagement Institute brings College to Community and Community to College. FEI leads to promote college-going identities and aspirations to elevate the talent and voice of underserved communities through multigenerational pathways. FEI equals first-generation –first in family– student success.

Since 2010 FEI has served historically marginalized communities to:

Enroll 8000+ parents/caregivers in college bridge courses
Provide professional development to 1700+ educators
Prepare 950+ children to be school-ready
Mentor 400+ first generation college bound youth

Help us celebrate our 10^th year in 2020 as FEI continues its commitment for another 10 years to re-envision our educational system to best serve all of California’s future generations. Imagine families, educators, funders, and communities as partners to co-design programs and policies that work to ensure a shared vision of equity towards an inclusive, diverse, and thriving society.
