De Anza College Asian Pacific American Staff Association (APASA) Scholarships

Founded in 1990, the mission of APASA is to promote the interests of the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) students and staff at De Anza College and to serve as a vehicle for articulating the views and concerns of the AAPI communities on and off campus.  APASA endeavors to support student success and equity efforts by offering up to three $1000 scholarships annually to De Anza College students who may face financial hardship while pursuing their educational goals and/or who demonstrate leadership, a commitment to community service, and advocate for social justice and cross-cultural understanding of AAPI communities.

Since 1996, APASA has awarded over $33,000 in scholarships to 43 De Anza College students.  Scholarship recipients are recognized at APASA’s annual Lunar New Year Scholarship Luncheon, which serves as our primary fundraising event.  Your donation to the APASA scholarship fund will allow the organization to continue to meet student needs and will directly benefit De Anza College students who will be better able to pursue and achieve their academic goals.

Thank you for your consideration and support.
